New SAMSHA Release

A friend passed this news of a new expansion of the SAMSHA database that sounds promising and helpful. Check it out.

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is expanding its National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practices Web site (www.nrepp.samhsa.gov) by providing information from the agency’s Model Programs Initiative.

The NREPP site is a searchable online registry of mental health and substance abuse interventions that have been reviewed and rated by independent experts. The registry assists agencies and organizations in identifying interventions that have been scientifically tested and can be readily disseminated to the field. You can search for interventions that fit the needs of your communities.
