Nice SacBee Post On The CA Commission Impasse

The Sacramento Bee recently published this thoughtful and persuasive editorial about Arnold's anticipated termination of proposed legislation to establish a sentencing commission in CA that isn't doomed to irrelevance from inception. Speaking of doomed to irrelevance, nothing to report on any meaningful corrections reform in New Jersey. This isn't to say that politicians in the Garden State aren't currently thinking about prison -- in fact, ensnaring corrupt pols in New Jersey in various acts of official malfeasance is now so commonplace as to provoke indifferent yawns rather than collective howls of outrage from a clearly bewildered electorate.
