Wanna Go to Prison?--Part Two

The Tulsa World continues its excellent series on what life is like in prison here, finishing up tomorrow, I think. I dare you to read this and not think two things—one, there’s got to be a better way to spend money on guys like this guy they’re featuring and, two, a pharmaceutical patch or insert or a bioengineered DNA change could easily be sold as that better way. This guy needs to be paying taxes, not sucking them up. Or you can go the way of WV and see if interlocks will work better for you than they have other places where enforcement is a major issue. It all still points to more interest in and use of TECHNOCORRECTIONS as the “remedies” come online and policymakers get desperate enough. [If scientists can relieve depression in mice (!) by drugging them to have a “runner’s high,” surely they can help the guy in the OK story. Now I dare you not to think of depressed mice with runner’s highs all day.]
