The Corrections Sentencing Costs of War

If history holds, this problem will only become worse and worse, with more demands on our criminal justice process and our corrections sentencing resources. Military vets coming home after the demands and stresses of their experience and seeing themselves in, and then making real, domestic war zones. A tragic reminder that, when we plan for our future in this arena, the past and its trends will not be a perfect fit with the future so our projections and planning will be off in big ways as a result. And this future sounds ominous. We need to start getting ready.
