Oooh, what an idea. Some OK legislators are proposing charging a kind of surcharge on every out-of-state inmate residing in OK prisons, public or private. $2 a head per day. A million here, a million there, pretty soon you’re talking about real money. The ramifications are (understatement alert) numerous. Believe me, I’ll be keeping an eye on where this goes and will let you know.
