How to Do Law in CA

Here’s how you build respect for law and keep people from violating it in CA—ignore a judicial order so you can score political points.

State defies high court over sex offenders

I’m sure they’ve set aside all the funds necessary for the lawsuits if the state supreme court decides that the law is unconstitutional and that these offenders were imprisoned illegally. Because CA’s just rolling in dough to throw around. [TIP: it just cost WA state $174,000 for one woman kept for a year and a half. Start multiplying, gov, especially now that you’ve just told the state’s highest court to kiss your patoot.]
