Preventing Cybercrime

Matthew Bowen at Prevention Works catches some all-too-typical fed talk not matching walk (although he’s far too diplomatic to call it that). FBI makes cybercrime its third highest priority, then doesn’t fund enough agents to keep up with it. As Matthew notes, though, this is an area in which the general public can have a big impact on crime just by educating themselves well and exercising preventative measures. And guess whose website just happens to have all kinds of helpful tips on how that prevention works.
